What results you can achieve after the course

Our one-hour session with Ivan probably saved us weeks or even months of going in the wrong direction. Right after that call, we reprioritized our entire go-to-market strategy and quickly proved we were targeting the wrong ICP.
He listened, structured everything we were saying live, and used frameworks that made it crystal clear what kind of market and challenge we were actually dealing with. He also introduced the jobs-to-be-done concept at both the professional and personal level, which completely changed how we think about the personal problems someone is trying to solve when buying a B2B solution.
That one session gave us clarity we had been chasing for weeks. Highly recommend working with Ivan.

The training by Ivan Zamesin is truly great, but it does call for a certain alertness of both body and spirit… Still, it’s absolutely worth it — you definitely end up a little closer to the truth

The tasks I brought to the training were:
— To understand the AJTBD methodology and learn how to conduct AJTBD research
— To learn how to apply research data in marketing and sales

My goals:
— To be able to define product development strategy on my own
— To figure out where to take the product next

What I managed to achieve during the training:
— I figured out the AJTBD methodology, learned how to conduct research, and even completed one iteration with real conclusions
— I understood how to apply research data in marketing and sales (though I haven’t yet tried it in practice)
— I started feeling more confident and valuable in my role as a product manager
— I now feel confident about the company’s future, because I have a compass that helps me choose the right direction
— I can see how my thinking is shifting towards jobs-to-be-done; I’m gaining perspective through other products, which helps me generate ideas for the team

What I liked:
— Ivan’s approach, mindset, and ideas; he never disappointed with his attitude
— Grounding the methodology in real business challenges
— The logic of product development
— Lifetime access to updated materials — powerful stuff
— Practical sessions where we applied research data to real business tasks
— The design of the presentations (with the little characters)
— A ton of extra materials

Overall:
This training was sobering — a real step towards maturity in the product role. It’s especially powerful if you already have a few years of experience and mistakes behind you; then it’s easier to grasp the principles Ivan is talking about.
My key takeaway: focus on customer needs. I no longer want or can invent things out of thin air. From now on, only reality-based decisions

I strongly recommend this training to product managers, researchers, and owners — even outside the digital sphere. I’m confident that within a few years, its core principles will be adopted by the majority of successful product teams.

I really liked the training! Ivan did an excellent job delivering the material — everything was clear and engaging. Even though I had little prior experience in product management, I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible and interesting it was.
This makes the program especially valuable for those who are not yet deeply involved in product management. It even shifted my mindset toward product thinking — now I see many things through the JTBD perspective.
The presentations and sessions were easy to follow, never overwhelming, and at times even felt refreshing.
My personal score is 9.5 out of 10 — I’ll leave that last half-point for the hidden lessons I haven’t uncovered yet

Scand ltd. IT Project Manager

I came to the course with a ton of knowledge that just wasn’t clicking in real life. Pretty quickly, concepts like work graphs, AJTBD, and other heavy-hitting tools finally fell into place.
The course doesn’t overload you with hands-on practice, but it’s designed for grown-ups—you’re expected to hit the ground running and apply it in the real world. If you have doubts during or after the course, there’s a community where you can get solid advice and warm support.
I’d done interviews before the course, but with Ivans’s AJTBD method, they became more insightful, valuable, and actionable because the course isn’t just about interviews. It’s about seeing the big picture for the product and business, nailing customer segments, finding product-market fit, and even touching on a bit of marketing.
The payoff was clear right after the course—I now know where to focus my efforts and why. There’s a sense of confidence that comes from understanding the purpose behind my actions and their goals. I’m not ready to brag about numbers yet, but here’s the deal: I’ve roped my entrepreneurial colleagues into the same methodology. We’re tackling challenges together and seeing our hypotheses gain traction. I no longer feel like I’m stuck knowing everything but unable to act—now it’s more like I know, I try, and I make things happen. That’s worth its weight in gold

As a product designer, my job isn’t just about churning out mockups based on specs—it’s about brainstorming ways to make the product better. In a way, thinking like a product manager is baked into my role.
I wanted to expand my horizons and explore approaches that help create better products—maybe some tools or methods that spark fresh ideas. The course was a real game-changer for me, opening up new ways to uncover product improvements from a design perspective.
Now, I often approach things through the AJTBD lens. It doesn’t always lead to instant wins, but it definitely helps me shift my perspective and see the bigger picture. As the product owner’s right-hand man, I can now toss out ideas that I wouldn’t have even noticed before.
